He has been a part of club tennis since his freshman year and was Vice President last year, and is looking to make sure the Club has another awesome year. Marko loves Ping Pong almost as much as tennis, so let him know if you're looking for a challenge. He also plays Super Smash Bros. competitively at Penn State. Marko's favorite place to travel to is Disney, and he only owns the color blue.
Suraj Manoj

Suraj is a junior majoring in Computer Engineering. He has been a part of the club since his freshman year and would like to see a lot of people have fun and make new friends just like he did. Suraj loves to play Soccer, Ping Pong, and Ultimate Frisbee. He is an avid Eagles and Sixers fan, and he loves to go to football games on Saturdays. He enjoys watching videos and keeping up to date with all the latest technology and his favorite place to visit is Hawaii because that's where he recently learned how to surf.

He also works as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the Millennium Science Complex and primarily works on bioprinting and biomaterial synthesis. Kevin has been a member of Club Tennis since his freshman year and as a previous teaching assistant at Wilmington Country Club, hopes to take on a teaching role (we’ll miss you Roger!) during court hours for newer players or players looking to improve parts of their tennis game.
Zoe Cykosky
Zoë is a sophomore majoring in marketing with a minor in psych. She joined club tennis her freshman year & absolutely fell in love with it. She is the manager of the Varsity Women’s Tennis Team & has an internship with the PSU Sports Psychologist. She also serves as the State of State Public Relations Director, so she will be running lots of social media accounts this year! She will be taking plenty of photos and videos with her new Go Pro for the club tennis pages, so look out! When she isn’t playing tennis with the club, she is probably still on a tennis court somewhere else eating pizza. Zoë tries to make plenty of tennis puns, so she asks that you laugh at her jokes instead of just shaking your head. She loves the mental aspect of tennis & motivating others, so if you ever need a pep talk let her know! She is excited to meet all of the new members & to get back on the court with her tennis friends from last year. She looks forward to SERVING the club this year as secretary!

He joined the Travel Team last year after a break from competitive tennis. He previously served as team captain for varsity tennis at Politecnico di Milano, Italy. Outside school Umberto is a helicopter pilot in the making and die hard fan of Ferrari F1 Team and Valentino Rossi. His best shot is definitely his two-handed backhand down the line. Or at least it was.
Eric Yen
THON Chair
Eric is a senior majoring in Mechanical Engineering and with a minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He started playing tennis when he was six, and has been involved with club tennis and on the travel team since his freshman year. Some of his favorite memories with the club have been canning and canvassing weekends, and traveling to nationals to represent Penn State. He is super excited to meet all the new members and have them meet our incredible THON family, and is ready for a fun year of Club Tennis.
Tom Hanlon
THON Chair
Tom is a senior majoring in Earth Science and Policy with a minor in Political Science. He joined Club Tennis last fall and is so excited to be back for another year! He loves to spend time with the Club’s THON family, the Beltz, and cannot wait to help make this a fantastic year for both Club Tennis and THON. His favorite tennis games are Around the World and Bobsled. Outside of Club Tennis, Tom loves to ski and go to the beach, depending on what time of year it is. Around school, you will most likely find Tom in the Jamba Juice line. Tom is a Star Wars fanatic, and will gladly talk your ear off about any concept from the movies/games/tv/etc. Tom also is a huge college football fan and loves to attend PSU’s home games. His favorite music is anything by Ariana Grande and Mariah Carey, and he will probably try to do a vocal run (REALLY badly) if he hears their music. If you have any questions, especially if they are related to THON, you should absolutely reach out to him.

Patrick Shelton
Community Service Chair
Patrick is a junior majoring in marketing and political science with a minor in international business. Patrick has unequivocally the best forehand slice in the club, just don't ever ask him to show you. Outside of tennis, you can find Patrick making cheesesteaks at Redifer or living in a tent at Gate A. If he's not doing either of those things, he's probably eating a cheesesteak somewhere else or in a tent somewhere else. If he doesn't have a tent with him, then that means he's backpacking on the Appalachian Trail. Patrick's office hours are everyday from 3:30-5:00 A.M. in the Atherton Hall basement. For Spring 2019, Patrick can be reached at his new office in Freiburg, Germany. As a Schreyer Scholar and Eagle Scout, Patrick takes his role very seriously and has significant experience as an active participant and leader of community service projects. He takes great pride in being able to positively impact the local community and having fun at the same time.
